I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. Frequently Asked Questions

How come the colors of my print are slightly different than what I saw on my screen?

All computer monitors are calibrated differently. Therefore, you may notice a slight color shift on your actual print.

Can I see a proof with my custom order?

Why, yes.. you can! I provide one free proof with custom and / or personalized orders. If additional proofs are needed, please contact me. There is an additional $5.00 fee for extra proofs.

What if I find a typo or error after I approved the proof?

For digital files, we will be happy to fix the error but will not reimburse any costs that you may have incurred when printing the file yourself.

For items printed or cut by Broke Girl Graphics, you will need to purchase the item again for a re-print or cut. We assume after the approval of your proof, that the file is correct and ready to print. We are not liable for additional costs.

Can I receive a sample swatch of the vinyl before ordering a wall Decal?

Absolutely! If you would like a sample swatch of the vinyl to test on your wall before completing your purchase, please contact me! Sample swatches will have no tracking when sent. Please allow 3-5 business days to receive your sample.

What if my decal won't release from the backing paper?

This can happen with decals and isn't uncommon. Make sure to use a squeegee or credit card and run it across the transfer tape first. You may also flip the decal over and squeegee over the paper backing. Slowly, peel away transfer tape. If vinyl will not release from backing, lay the transfer tape back down and smooth again. You make need to repeat this step a few times. Remember to be patient and go slow. Removing transfer tape too fast can occasionally lead to tearing of the decal.

What if my decal won't release from the transfer paper?

This can happen with decals and isn't uncommon. Make sure the surface you are applying your decal to is clean and dry. When your decal is placed onto the surface, use your squeegee or credit card and rub across decal. Slowly and carefully peel away transfer tape starting at the corner. You should be peeling almost horizontal to the surface. If your decal is not sticking to the surface, lay the transfer tape back down and smooth out again with your squeegee or credit card, paying special attention to the areas that are "stuck". Sometimes, using a hair dryer can help release the vinyl by using short 10-15 second bursts of heat in between attempting to remove the transfer tape, taking care not to overheat the vinyl.
